KANNO HONEY FARM is a three-generation, family-owned honey producer in Okhotsk, Japan. The beekeepers follow their bees into forests untouched by pesticides to collect the purest honey. To be able to do so is the pride of Okhotsk and KANNO HONEY FARM.

With it's production left to nature, KANNO HONEY FARM's unpasteurized honey is additive, pesticide, and antibiotic-free. The bees set the pace of production, making the honey precious.

We created packaging that communicates the true worth of the honey so that Kanno Honey Farm can continue to produce honey in the wild.

KANNO HONEY FARM is another project where I had the pleasure of working directly with the printing company to ensure that the packaging was just as we designed it.


This work and its photography was realized at COMMUNE under the art direction of Ryo Ueda.

KANNO HONEY FARMは、日本のオホーツクで3世代に渡る家族経営のハチミツ生産者です。養蜂家は、農薬に触れてない森に入り、ミツバチを追いかけて純粋なハチミツを採取しています。それがオホーツクとKANNO HONEY FARMの誇りです。

自然に任せて、無添加・無農薬・無抗生物質の無殺菌はちみつを生産しています。ミツバチが生産のペースを決め、貴重なはちみつにしています。

KANNO HONEY FARMがこれからも自然の中でハチミツを作り続けられる為、COMMUNEがハチミツの真価を伝えるパッケージを作りました。

KANNO HONEY FARMのプロジェクトでまた、印刷会社の方と直接お仕事をさせていただき、デザイン通りのパッケージを実現することができました。


このワークスと撮影は上田亮のアートディレクションのもと、COMMUNEで実現しました。
